About the Author

Steven Earnshaw is the published author of numerous short stories, essays on creative writing, and books, ranging from Beginning Realism to The Pub in Literature. He has contributed to scholarly journals, edited collections, and was a winner of the 2011 Brontë Society Literary Competition. He is Professor of English at Sheffield Hallam University.
