About the Author

KAY A. CHICK is an Assistant Professor of Curriculum and Instruction at Penn State Altoona, where she teaches courses in educational psychology and educational theory and policy.

Dr. DEBORAH ELLERMEYER is an Assistant Professor at Clarion University of Pennsylvania where she currently teaches courses in language arts methodology and reading problems. Other teacher resource books that she has recently published include Perfect Poems for Teaching Phonics and Teaching Math with Favorite Picture Books.
